A plausible Origin and Modus Operandi of the Weakly Interacting Massive Particle WIMP [called Noumenon by the Author] and,

Higgs Boson, can be accessed by clicking on any of these links.

Mass is due to the difference in spin between particles - individually or in sets of gravitational domains - in contact with each other causing one of them to rotate around the other.

These three issues are given prominence and early links here in the wake of the news that, physicists at the European laboratory CERN are set to announce what they believe to be the first glimpse of Higgs boson. They have secured a temporary halt to the tearing down of LEP: the 17-mile-long, round Large Electron Positron Collider at CERN. This would have come about, at an additional cost of $60 million dollars since the construction of a replacement was scheduled to start soon. Scientists have subsequently determined that the results of the search were not sufficient to warrant the expense. This in turn paves the way for the demolition of the old accelerator, and the construction of the $1.8-billion new one.

It is the humble opinion of the author that the tireless efforts of CERN Scientists to isolate Higgs Boson are in vain. They are pursuing a blind end road that is going to lead them nowhere because every particle of the Material Ether is a potential Higgs Boson. It cannot be separated from that matrix unless:

It becomes a Photon Of Energy, which has been already isolated by Serge Haroche et al, Ecole Normale Superieure, [haroche@physique.ens.fr see also AIP Bulletin # 439].

Or it becomes a Noumenon [WIMP] - a change that is suggested by the thesis to be limited to the Plasma State, and does NOT ordinarily take place in the ether. The WIMP is transformed in the ether into a Hyperon within 10^-23 of a second.

The Hyperon is essentially a combination of the Noumenon with a photon of energy. The formation of all Nucleons [including Hyperons] is also limited to the Plasma State.

Concerns and Frequently asked Questions

1. I do NOT have the necessary scientific background to really understand all this.

The question was brought up by My Children, some of my good Neighbors as well as: two eminent Physicists, because, in their own words, they were not specialists in particle physics. The author respects their desire not to comment on an issue that is not in their area of expertise but he strongly feels that:

This concern is only partially true [see Bare Energy],

Although a layman [or a scientist] may not be able to master all the details,

Everybody should be able to choose between:

A Vacuum or

A Material ether,

Without being a Ph. D. in Physics, in the same way as he or she can choose between:

Evolution or

Creation,

Without being a Geneticist nor a Doctor of Divinity.

It is a matter of common sense as explained on the last page of the book.

2. How can anything Move in such a compact ether Matrix ?

Very simply put, in the same way as we wade through water. As a matter of fact, motion through the material ether takes place with much less resistance, on the order of 10²times less, due to the extremely high potential energy of the ether particles as compared to the water molecules.

Its Transparency as well, is due to the same reason: the extremely high potential energy of its particles. We can see through it in a manner similar to the way we can see through the solid blades of a fast rotating fan.

3. How Come NO Professional Physicist has so far acknowledged your work?

This question should be directed to the Physicists themselves. The author has often asked himself this particular question without arriving at a satisfactory answer [see conditioned cognition ].

On the positive side:

These are busy and dedicated people totally absorbed in their work and the word may have not reached them yet.
The author may have failed in reaching them by using direct mail, they have their own news net that he has not yet learnt to use.

On the negative side:

The majority of those whom the author has reached by direct mail - mostly outstanding leaders in their own fields - have a dilemma that they do not want to face. They are behaving like the patient who denies his terminal illness especially if it is cancer [see Exceptions in Physics].

Research equipment - from super colliders to super telescopes - are NOT a substitute for human Thinking Process.

4. What does the illustration on the cover show?

A Gluon Quark "spin rotating" around two neighboring "Nucleons", in the nucleus of Deuterium. This motion illustrates the modus operandi of the "Strong Nuclear Force", its short range and its magnitude. The author communicated the idea in 1992 to Dr. Peccei, then Chairman of the Department of Physics at UCLA who chose NOT to endorse it.

The Author has only recently [November 1999] come to realize that it equally represents the structure of the so-called string of the String Theory. The Grey central particle in each nucleon is suggested by the model to be: the weakly interacting massive particle WIMP .

5. How can we be sure that you are on the right track?

It is a Logical Imperative, a matter of common sense as explained on the last page of the book.

The author's pride in, and conviction of, the major theoretical premises of this analysis does not mean that all the speculative illustrations about the possible motions responsible for the different phenomena have the same solid foundation. Any "mistakes" in Concept or Design, though highly unlikely, are always possible in a work like this. One has to explore all the possibilities; then by a process of time consuming "elimination"; arrive at a working model that is most likely to fit with the others in a comprehensive whole. The author's feeling of confidence in some of the conclusions, such as the structure of the proton and the neutron; are not very different from that of a child who has just put in place the last piece of a jig saw puzzle. He knows he is right, not because the picture is a familiar one, but because the pieces would not fit together otherwise.

It is gratifying to have a long standing difficulty with one piece of the puzzle that does not seem to fit anywhere, but finally falls in place with a perfect fit once the surrounding pieces are in place. This was the case with the Disc structure of the Electron Field, and the internal structure of the Nucleons. The author has not hesitated during his18 years of work on the subject - nor would he hesitate in the future - in changing the proposed motions for a particular physical phenomenon nor rewriting whole sections because they were in error and did not fit into a comprehensive unified whole.

6. What difference does it make whether the ether has a material structure or is simply empty space as it appears to be?

The same as the difference between The Earth rotating around itself in front of the Sun, or the Sun going around the Earth as it appears to do.
The Scientific Value of the Model is Similar to the Impact of the Copernican Theory on Astronomy.

It displays itself in many ways:

It gives [or would eventually give] a clear explanation of the Modus Operandi or "Process" for all physical phenomena without exception.

This analysis is a new interpretation of physical theory that brings us nearer to reality by calling for "a necessary and overdue modification of some old concepts". It vindicates certain absolute and universal physical principles, such as "A Material Matrix for All Waves," the exception of which has led us astray for 150 years. It also vindicates the Existence of the Elementary Particles of Matter and Antimatter side by side in Equal amounts in the Ether.

This analysis offers a mechanistic process for all the laws and phenomena of physics: a tangible "raison d'etre". It offers the modus operandi for a "New Quantum Mechanics", that is Unmistakably Grainy.

It helps the design and interpretation of future research.

The model is not a substitute for the laboratory experiment or the mathematical calculation. Given the particular laboratory experiment and the mathematical calculation that we have, the model becomes a powerful tool essential for the understanding of the internal structure and behavior of the subatomic particles; and for the design and interpretation of future research.

The author takes full responsibility for any shortcomings in the suggested modus operandi. They are either misconceptions on his part, or misapplication of the model to the physical phenomenon under consideration. On the other hand any success that the model may achieve, in toto or in part, should be Properly Credited to ALL the Scientists who made it possible: who designed and carried out the tedious experiment in the laboratory, then worked out the time consuming mathematical detail.

The impact is equally felt on our perception of the Evolution of the Universe which is suggested by Thesis to be fundamentally different from the currently prevailing view:

It had a "Big Bang" as a part of its ongoing process of Organization,
But that big bang DOES NOT represent its Starting Point,

Nor does it indicate its expansion.

These conclusions have not been taken lightly.

The author does not dispute the actual findings and measurements of The Cosmic Red Shift [abbreviated CRS from now onwards], by Edwin P. Hubble and the other astronomers who followed in his footsteps to the present day.

This analysis however, strongly Disputes The Interpretation of these findings, which are in direct conflict with the logical consequences of the material ether.

The serendipitous finding by Hubble that led to the formulation of his Law, is unfortunately coupled with a monumental misinterpretation.

The author strongly believes that the expansion of the Universe or the lack of it should be judged by:

The Status of the Ether, and

NOT by the Status of the Celestial Bodies that are scattered within it.

7. How come you continue to pursue the Copyright and Patent protection when equally important theoretical discoveries are free to the public?

This is a soar issue for the Author that he is going to spare the reader its details for the time being. He intends to include them in his memoirs at the appropriate time. Suffice it to state here that this road has been followed as a response and Necessary Reaction to the "Institutional Denial" of the validity of his work.

8. Where had the Mathematical Physicist gone wrong?

E = mC²

E - mC²= 0

All numbers - including the zero in the second equation - have two meanings [see Numbers]. In case of the Zero, the two meanings include:

An Empty Set, a vacuum, the state of non existence, or

The Balance between two physical units carrying equal amounts of energy operating in opposite direction - regardless of their absolute magnitude.

Unfortunately, the Mathematical Physicist chose the first meaning exclusively. This is where the infamous - logically untenable - idea of almost boundless energy in an "empty" vacuum came from.

The Alternative of:

One Unit of Negative electric charge: an Electron, Interacting with:

One Unit of Positive electric charge: a Positron,

[Please note the double meaning of "One UNIT". It means the abstract numerical value of "one" as well as the "physical unitary particle" itself: the electron and the positron [see Numbers]]

Can explain the disappearance of the two electric charges [Eroneously Interpreted As The Annihilation of the physical units that carry them [see section 51]], as simply due to:

A Coalition or apposition of the two particles that are carrying the electric charge, they will first radiate their excess energy then form part of a special matrix: the ether. The two opposing standard charges Neutralize each other to form hidden or Potential Energy on Hidden Real Particles: hidden because they are unable to dissociate themselves from the matrix. The only time they can do so is when they possess an energy value different from their neighbors in the matrix [see the photon of energy].

It is a simpler explanation because it conserves both energy and matter as Different [yet inseparable] Entities, thus avoiding the illogical conclusion of their Interconvertibility [see annihilation].

Needless to say that it is exactly such a matrix that made the Maxwell Equations possible.

9. What does it take to "Streamline" Physical Theory?

It will take a World Conference like the one held in Copenhagen in 1925, to be held sometime in the next 5 years, and as far as the author is concerned, preferably by the year 2000 at the UCLA Conference Center at Lake Arrowhead. The author believes that certain Quantum Computations Experiments: http://www.qubit.org/intros/comp/comp.html offer additional Proof of the existence of material ether, and will be referred to, at the appropriate location in the book [see Statistical structure of the Atom].

Physicists from all over the world who are interested in "A Medium for the EMGWs" would be invited to present their point of view. The subject would be debated among them, and hopefully a consensus would be reached.

10. Where does the "String Theory" fit in relation to the "Standard Particle Theory?"

The String theory pertains to One Motion out of the thousands involved in the all-inclusive "Standard Particle" theory.

The author has found that the elliptical motion of a gluon around two neighboring Noumena [as depicted in the book cover illustration] would represent the structure of the string.

The gluon is in a state of "weightlessness" similar to that of a space capsule "in orbit" around the Earth, that is why it does not display any additional "space/time" changes while carrying that motion. It is NOT that space/time has ceased to exist or has become obsolete or permanently non-operative [see article by L.A. Times Science Writer: K. C. Cole, Tuesday Nov. 16, 1999]: the gravitational and anti-gravitational forces are temporarily in balance in its immediate environment.

Gluons [Strings] display 7 additional dimensions [in addition to the original four of the quark] in order to define their physical characteristics: three for their spatial dimensions, three for their attitude and one for their time period.

The "Standard Particle Theory" encompasses the string theory, and was arrived at independently of it, by utilizing a completely different methodology, [see Origin and Modus Operandi of the Weakly Interacting Massive Particle WIMP].

The "Standard Particle theory" unifies Gravity with Electromagnetism, [section 16 p 22], and with the [New Quantum Mechanics].

11. Where does the "New State of Matter" fit in relation to the "Standard Particle Theory?"

The Theory has officially [as of the date of filing of the original Patent # 08/414,484 on 08/11/95] predicted "Not only one but TWO "New States of High Energy Matter" on purely theoretical grounds:

The Material Ether Fig. 1., and

The Black Holes [Black Holes].

If the group of physicists concerned with the issue [see article by L.A. Times Science Writers: Usha Lee McFarling and K. C. Cole, Thursday Feb. 10, 2000] succeed in their experimental endeavor, it will go a long way in validating the author's opinion. There is one major difference however: The Material Ether Predates the Big Bang. The latter took place in the presence, and under the control of the Material Ether as will be outlined in detail in the Evolution of the Universe.

Additionally the theory supports many types of Plasma states with a wide range of different dynamics and Equilibria, none of which warrants a "New State of Matter". They are plasmas of the same general composition, with some variations due to "Different Temperatures and Pressures".

The theory suggests that beyond a certain temperature, all these plasmas contain quarks as free compressed elementary particles moving at random. Under certain circumstances they undergo a temporary confinement in contact with a noumenon [non-spinning particle] to form nucleons subject to the Lie permutations. It is only after leaving the Plasma State that such confinement becomes permanent, short of a nuclear reaction or one of the decay processes.
