The author is an Amateur Physicist: physics is his hobby.

His interest in it is purely theoretical, and is related to his interest in the history of science as well as in Philosophy.

He has produced this work alone, without collaboration with anybody else.

His "medical" - rather than "physical science" background - has been of great help in the following sense:

1. He did not get bogged down by Overwhelming Raw Data that will make it impossible to draw an Overview Picture.

2. He became aware of the Elaborate "Organization," as well as "Evolution" in the field of biology, characterized by similar patterns in which a minor modification can lead to major differences.

This has been instrumental in shaping his thinking and suggesting the same basic "Structural Unit" for both the "Ether," and the "Celestial Bodies" - with a minor difference in their "Pattern of Organization," resulting in a vast difference in their behavior and outcome - something the physicist may not initially entertain.

3. Medicine has taught him the boldness and tenacity that many pioneer scientists in general - and physicians in particular - have displayed, when convinced that they have something new to offer, different from, or completely opposed to, the current accepted theory.

Regardless of your specialty in science or philosophy, the Author invites you to put aside some of your Preconceived ideas about basic Physics - beginning with the concept of "lone particles travelling in a vacuum, and making waves of all sizes and shapes". The Author calls it "Conditioned Cognition" in the book.

This is necessary in order to be able to explore the following pages with an open mind, and let the chips fall wherever they may.

The author graduated from:

Kasr El Ainy Medical School, Cairo University, Egypt in 1950

He is an American Citizen by Naturalization since 1962,

And a native Egyptian of the Coptic faith by birth,

He is Board Certified in General Surgery since 1962,

And a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons since 1964,

He has practiced in:

Pomona California from 1961 to 1968

Thousand Oaks, California from 1968 to 1981

He joined the United States Air Force, between 1982 and 1987, when he returned to private practice in Thousand Oaks 1987 to 1993

He retired in 1993.
